Hundreds of Perth residents have braved the wet weather for hours to get their first taste of American fast-food giant In-N-Out Burger in WA in years.
The company flew staff over from the United States for a pop-up market research restaurant inside the CBD’s Market Grounds on Wednesday.

With less than a day’s notice of the store’s opening, and just over 800 burgers on offer, huge queues of people were seen outside In-N-Out Burger for hours before the store took its first order at 10am.
One couple even joined the queue as early as 6am to be first in line for their burger.

From 10am until 4pm, the cult burger franchise is going to be selling the ‘Double-Double burger, the ‘Animal Style’ burger, and the ‘Protein Style’ burger at Market Grounds.
But fans have been warned to be quick, since a post on Market Grounds’ Facebook page reads “First come – first served. Limited quantities available”.
In-N-Out Burger has not been in Perth for more than four years.
More to come.
